Cabugueira is an example of residential civil architecture, probably in the 19th century. With sober lines,
but very drafty, it is typical of the region of Trás-os-Montes, since it has a wine cellar with a winepress on
the ground floor and a residential area on the top. This manor is of simple rectangular plant and
coverage on a gable roof. It has two floors, in plastered masonry and painted in white, finished in frieze
and cornice. It has a main façade with a central axis raised by the cornice, forming a false pediment, torn
by a wedge-shaped portal and a bay window, surmounted by a coat of arms. Highlight, on the side
facade facing the street, the portals, the sill windows and the large rectangular chimney, with stonework,
with several cornices at the top. It contains a chapel that stands next to the house. ” (in “Monograph of
